Kia ora, we’re Simon and Amy – the husband-and-wife team behind Fraemohs Homes Bay of Plenty. We like to think we’re more than just builders; we’re a family dedicated to crafting homes that feel as good to live in as they do to look at.

For Simon, building isn’t just a job – it’s been part of his life since childhood. Over 20 years later, he still brings the same passion and care to every site he steps onto. Our clients love working with him, because of his attention to detail, his ability to problem solve and his consistency in delivering builds on-time and on-budget (see their kind words below).

Amy believes that building someone’s home is a true privilege. It’s not just about the finished product, it’s about the experience along the way. From the first idea to the final handover, we want our clients to feel supported, heard, and genuinely excited about the process.

Together, we share a love of great design and specialise in homes that have an architectural look and feel at a more affordable price point. In addition we think carefully about how spaces will be used and how they will feel for you and your whānau, so that we can design a home that enhances family life, togetherness and connection.

For us, every project is built on relationships – with our clients, our team and our community. We’re there beside you through every stage of the build journey, giving you confidence, clarity and guidance and that doesn’t stop after the keys are handed over.
